Rates for Therapy
- 45-minute session costs $225
- 60–minute session costs $275
- Intake Assessment for diagnostic purposes costs $350
- Family/Couples Counseling costs $300.

Understanding Your Insurance Responsibilities
When you use insurance for therapy, your plan may include a deductible, copay, and/or coinsurance. Here’s what those mean:
Deductible
This is the amount you must pay out-of-pocket each year before your insurance starts covering services.
Example: If your deductible is $1,000, you pay the full session fee until you’ve reached that amount. After that, your insurance begins sharing the cost of your sessions.
Copay
A copay is a fixed fee you pay at each session, no matter what your deductible is.
Example: You might have a $25 copay each visit. Insurance pays the rest of the session cost.
Co-insurance
Co-insurance means you and your insurance company split the cost after the deductible is met.
Example: If your co-insurance is 20% and the session costs $150, you pay $30, and your insurance pays $120.
Why Your First Few Sessions May Cost More
If your deductible hasn’t been met, you’ll pay the full contracted rate (the rate your insurance company and therapist have agreed on) until it’s satisfied. Once that’s done, your cost will drop to just your copay or coinsurance.
How to Check Your Benefits
You can call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
What is my deductible, and how much of it has been met?
Do I have a copay or co-insurance for outpatient mental health?
What is my coverage for telehealth therapy?
Payment
I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment. Payments can be made in your Client Portal.
Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend a session, please cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged $75 for the session.
